Rigpa Study & Practice Program
Every year, retreats with Sogyal Rinpoche take place in Europe, the United States and Australia. They are complemented by a year-round program of courses in Rigpa's centres and groups around the world.
These courses offer a graduated path of teachings and practice.
A Distance Learning Program - the Bush Telegraph is also available for individuals who do not live near a center or a group.

Finding Peace in the Modern World
An Introduction to Tibetan Buddhist Teachings and Meditation Practice Based on Video Teachings by Sogyal Rinpoche World-renowned Buddhist teacher from Tibet and author of the highly acclaimed The Tibetan Book of Living and Dying.
Every second Thursday evening,
7.15 to 9.30pm (at our Fitzroy centre)
Commencing March 18th
This course offers an introduction to Buddhist views and practices. In particular, it offers an opportunity to learn a simple method of meditation that is at the same time powerful and profound. It can be practised by anyone at all, and is extremely effective for bringing inner strength, peace, compassion and understanding into your life.
These ideas and practices were taught by the Buddha over 2,500 years ago and have been passed down to us by a lineage of masters. Their timeless applicability comes from the fact that they address the basic human desire to find happiness and are not limited to any particular social or political environment.
Presentations of video teachings by Rinpoche, group practice, study and interaction among students are combined to create a supportive environment in which to become acquainted with these teachings. Ideas and advice on how to integrate and stabilize the teachings are also shared, to support bringing the experience and benefits of meditation fully into your daily life.
